AKVIS Enhancer - a program for processing photos, designed to improve image detail, correcting tone areas and improve the sharpness of the borders, with the possibility of creating a HDR image. Very often the picture seems hopelessly flawed, too dark, muddy, indistinct. AKVIS Enhancer (program name translates as "improvers") helps in many difficult cases.


The program works in modes: Enhancer, Focus, Smart Correction and HDR.
Enhancer mode provides a comprehensive correction of each point of the image without losing quality, allows you to correct any single picture to show detail in bright and dark areas. In this mode the program improves the texture, emphasizes the details, "pulling" them from the illuminated and shaded areas. Enhancer corrects underexposed pictures, pictures taken against the sun, and even helps get rid of fog or haze.
Focus mode helps to sharpen the defocused image, to focus on certain parts of the image, correct the fuzzy object in the picture.
Smart Correction Mode is designed for tone correction of images, that is, change the brightness of pixels in the dark and light areas, due to what the overall picture is improving. This mode allows you to adjust not only the whole image, but also the specific color field (eg, lighten the portrait, leaving the background intact, or darken the overexposed sky).
Mode HDR (available only in version standalone) provides images with high dynamic range of a few shots of the same object taken from different exposures.

The program is used not only for correction of family photos and art photos, Enhancer is used as publishers and editors of technical literature, to provide an illustration of equipment as possible in more detail. In medicine, this program helps with the recognition of fuzzy X-ray images.

AKVIS Enhancer allows you to store your favorite and most frequently used settings as presets, and invoke them as needed, which facilitates and accelerates the work.
AKVIS Enhancer is represented as a plugin to image editors (plugin) and as a separate, independent, program (standalone).
Enhancer as a separate (standalone) program allows you to work in all four modes (Enhancer, Focus, Smart Correction, HDR), while the plug Enhancer - the first three (Enhance, Focus, Smart Correction).
The program Enhancer (standalone edition) also includes advanced editing photos: the Postprocessing tab you can change the brightness, contrast and saturation of images, make correction for the channel.
The plugin supports batch file processing, which allows automatic editing of a large number of photos. This is very useful when dealing with the same type of defects, as often happens. AKVIS Enhancer plugin is compatible with most popular graphics editors: Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel Paint Shop Pro and Photo Paint and others.

AKVIS Enhancer (both versions) works with images RGB (8 / 16 bits) and Grayscale. Program Enhancer supports the formats JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG. The plugin can handle almost any file that opens a graphical editor from the list of compatible (including. Psd,. Crw, etc.), in RGB mode, and Grayscale.
